This is the bit where I show photos of myself in front of the camera and tell you some more info about who I am and why I do what I do.

Thanks for sticking with me!

I have been surgically attached to my camera for 20 years.

It all started when I was volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary in Africa (as you do) and fell in love with photographing animals. (Although at the time I had a disposable camera and had to wait 2 weeks for the film to be developed at a local Boots - before then seeing that the rhino I had just photographed was a tiny little blob in the distance. Cut to the following month when I was buying my first ever DSLR with a zoom lens!)

Now I photograph individual clients who want to capture and preserve beautiful images of their best friend. I shoot horse shows, dog agility, equine osteopaths, and everything in between.

I have been fortunate enough to have my images appear on Channel 4, on the front cover of K9 Magazine, and I even made an appearance on ‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire’ as their personal dog photographer!

I have published a photography book called “Dogs: From London to LA” (still available on Amazon and a great stocking filler *wink wink*) and I was very lucky to have some celebrity clients be a part of it.

I love FRIENDS, The Office (UK & American), Country music, Hamilton, mashed potatoes, and a good pub quiz (in a pub, with a real fire, dogs, and unlimited Prosecco)

I have two beautiful step daughters, the best friends and family a girl could wish for and I want to thank my wonderful husband for putting up with me and all of the stray dogs I continue to bring home.

If Carlsberg did husbands…

An ode to Ernie…

Ernie was my best friend. He was a labradoodle with a heart of gold. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. But not quite as much as I did.

Ernie was my inspiration for everything. His big smiley face made me want to take out my camera at every opportunity and preserve that moment in time.

Ernie crossed the rainbow bridge in 2021 after battling osteosarcoma and living the last 6 months on 3 legs. He did so well. But he got tired.

I want to thank him for everything and I will honour him by continuing on my photography journey and never giving up.

Love you Erns x
