This is such a common response when I start talking to my clients about a dog photo shoot. But honestly - IT DOESN’T MATTER! If your dog needs to stay on lead then that is absolutely fine! By the power of photoshop we can remove those leads as if they were never there. Similarly, if your pup has no formal training, then don’t even give it a second thought. My style is all about fun and capturing real personality. Plus - peanut butter and tennis balls usually seem to do the trick! :)

Each horse or pony will have their own unique personality and quirks. I have been around horses and on yards for 30 years and I am always super respectful of the individual needs. I can use long lenses so I don’t need to be close up to the horses face, and we always use lots of treats and cuddles as rewards. I take it at their pace. Always.

This photo shoot is all about you and your best mate. If you want to join in on the action, then have a think about what you might like to wear in your photos. I will have a good old chat with you beforehand and we can plan something together. My shoots are all about fun and colour, so bright block colours are fabulous (rather than floral or anything too patterned) but I also love it when we have a something outside the box like a ballgown or wedding dress! Imagine that on the beach…..(heart eyes emoji!) But above all else - just be comfortable. I will help you with all of this before your shoot, it’s all part of the fun.
